1850 Census: Annotated, compiled by John P. Alderman (1979) Andrew J. was the son of William and Elizabeth Edwards, raised on Little Reed. Polly's parents were Elisha and Nancy (Roten) Bedsaul; she was raised on Chestnut Cree. They married in 1846 and she died in 1859. Andrew remarried Nancy A. Melton in 1863 and died in 1904.
