Vic and Ellie lived for a number of years in the home at 239 Fourth St. East Cornwall. Ellie sewed canvas awnings for the windows. Vic maintained a bowling green lawn. The interior of their home had beautiful wood work around doors, windows and the staircase had a carved bear holding a shoe brush as the newel.

They are shown in the 1921 census in Cornwall township (#10 polling).
