    Mr. and Mrs. Albert F. Porter will observe their 65th wedding anniversary with an open house tomorrow in their home, 1528 33rd Street.
    The couple has lived at the same address since coming to Sacramento 17 years ago. Prior to that time, they had lived in Oakland for about 20 years where Porter was a skilled mechanic with the Nordstrum Valve Company when he retired at the age of 74 years.
    They met in Mrs. Porter's home town of Manistee, Mich., while her future husband was on a visit from his native Venice, Italy. Three years after their acquaintance began, they were married in Manistee when Mrs. Porter was 17 years old. She is now 81 years of age and Porter is 91.
    Their daughter, Mrs. Ruth M. Anderson, lives at 3233 43rd Street. There is also one grandson, Jack Porter Anderson, and five great grandchildren.
