  2. After their marriage, they moved to My. Bauer's home in Boone County, Kentucky. Mr. Bauer's death was reported in the Boone County Recorder (page 8, col 2) on 20 Feb 1901. He was said to be 64 years old at the time. In the 27 Nov 1901 issue of the same paper (page 4, col 4), a Commissioner's Notice for the Boone County Circuit Court (Adam Bauer & Katherine Bauer's Administrator vs. Joseph Bauer) appeared inviting all with claims against Bauer's estate to present them to the court before 23 Nov 1901. In the 17 Sept 1902 paper (page 4, col 5), a notice appears about the sale of four tracts of land and a right-of-way pass by the Commissioner of Boone County Circuit Court (Adam Bauer's Administrator & Equity vs. Joseph Bauer) ". ..or sufficient thereof to produce the sums of money so ordered to be made. . . ," $1,134.34. In the 4 January 1905 issue (p 5, col 4), there is a notice of a Sheriff's Sale for Taxes of 20 acres in Petersburg belonging to Catherine "Baur" and valued at $12.20.
