    Nancy Anna Stauffer was the daughter of Rev Abraham Stauffer and Ann Nissley. Abraham was the son of Christian Stauffer and Barbara Oberholtzer of Donegal Twp, Lancaster,Co,Pa. Christian died in 1759 and Barbara remarried to Martin Nissley. Abraham was made an orphan of the court at age 14, which was sometimes traditional especially if there was an inheritance coming. In 1772, at the age of 26, Abraham married his step-sister Ann Nissley. They had 9 children
