The tabulation below shows the "Houston's" who were present as Heads of Household (HOH) in Washington County PA, in the 1790, 1800, and 1810 US Census. The data are listed by given name. All HOH's shown here used the "Huston" spelling of the name. Not currently shown are a few HOH using the McQuiston spelling. Where the township is given in the census record, it is shown written out. Where it is not given, it is shown by "X". Note that this tabulation only records the presence of the given name in a particular census. A given name appearing in successive census, and shown on the same row, may or may not represent the same person. Even when the same name appears in the same township, there's no guarantee that the persons are actually the same individual. Note also that the data are ordered by their appearance in census years, so that as additional people are added, they appear lower down in the table.
