Analysis:Huston-Hoge Connection

Discussion

This James Huston settled on Conadoguinet Creek, East Pennsboro Township, Cumberland County, by 1772 when he secured a warrant for land near Silver Spring Meeting House. on the southside of the Conadoguinet. This transaction shows that James Huston was an adult in 1772. The patent on this property was later granted to a John Orth in 1785. According to Source:Anonymous, 1905 James left the area and moved to Center, PA. This is consistent with James transferring his warrant to Orth prior to his departure.
