We were not able to import your file, "ECHOLS.paf", because it does not appear to be a GEDCOM file.

Confusing website and changing your pages [13 August 2009]

Beth This is a confusing website, hard to understand and navigate. I was sent a notice that you did a lot of changing to my ECHOLS surname. I looked at the changes but really don't understand what you did. I really don't even know if you will get this message. but here it goes. And thanks anyway.--Webtex1999 15:31, 13 August 2009 (EDT)

Hi as a volunteer administrator I merged your pages with pages that were duplicates. They were either duplicated when you uploaded your gedcom or some other user had pages for the same person. We are combining all of the duplicate pages. On WeRelate, the object is to have only one person page and one family page, not multiples of the same person.

I am sorry that you find the site hard to understand and hard to navigate. You can ask questions at the Watercooler, which you may access on the blue menu bar in the dropdown menu for WeRelate. Also I recommend checking out the Help section also on the blue menu bar. You may also wish to visit the Community Portals which are accessed from the home page. --Beth 17:50, 13 August 2009 (EDT)
