Intersecting Watchlist Lines [9 February 2017]

First of all, as a site administrator and member of the Overview Committee, I want to welcome you to the WeRelate community, a very unique and relatively high quality genealogy wiki site when compared with other online genealogy sites, whose members and users pride themselves on setting and keeping high standards of information added to the site.

Secondly, I would encourage you to add all your sources of information for the data you enter on WeRelate to maintain that high quality standard. On at least a couple of our intersecting watchlist pages, I've noticed you've arbitrarily added and edited information and made unsubstantiated changes to family lines without providing the verification of the sources of the data you added and changed. As I noted on a couple of those talk pages, some of the data and dates you added clearly don't fit in traditional genealogical recordkeeping (e.g. such as children born before parents).

I point this out in an effort to get you started off right here at WeRelate. If you continue to use this site, expand your family lines, and collaborate with other users who share your interests and ancestry, I'm sure you too will appreciate the high expectations for users here in adding and editing data here. If you need assistance, please feel free to visit some of the help pages, tutorials, and community pages mentioned and linked above. Or you can ask one of us site administrators for more specific assistance.

Thanks. And good luck. --BobC 15:22, 9 February 2017 (UTC)
