Dowds/Douds [25 February 2011]

Hi, Terry.

Sorry to be late. I haven't been to WeRelate recently.

I haven't spent huge amounts of time on upline Dowds. And my line is from Benjamin H. Dowd, brother of Philo's grandfather. Quite a distance away. So I am no help with Philo's line either.

But I can aim you at a great researcher who knows a lot about these families. She is open on the net about her name and email, so I have no qualms giving them to you. She is Madelyn Gould, email as of last Nov was unixcorn@bellsouth.net She is the "Queen of Douds" (grins), and is very generous. If I remember rightly, and I may not be, she is actually descended from Philo as well.

Wish I could be more helpful. Maybe one of these days I will get back to the Dowds/Douds. Recently, I have had breakthroughs into both French Canada and Liechtenstein.... First time researching out of the US. My learning curve can't even be called a curve anymore. It's just plain straight up! (grins)
