duplicate family ?? [21 August 2010]

Hi,

You have a James Jackson and Abigail Fairchild (2) and I have James Jackson and Abigail Fairchild (1). I was looking to see if these pages should be merged but I see that altho these appear to match, the info on their son, James does not.

I have their son James married Martha "Patsy" Chambers in 1799. Would you check your James and Abigail to see if you think this couple is the same as couple #1 or perhaps it is a different couple just with the same names. Without dates etc it is impossible to know. If these are different families, perhaps we should mark them 'Do not merge' so that others will know we have examined them.

Ah, it might help if I'd give James Jackson's person page because it has so much more about him than the family page. Also I see that I haven't even uploaded his children yet.
