Bondsman: William Jackson. William is related as proved by DNA, but is not a father of James. It is conjectured that James in William's nephew and son of John.

Jean Gilmore's book says the marriage bond was dated 21 Dec 1779 Wilkes County and the marriage took place 3 Feb 1779/80. This sounds like Quaker dating to me, Janie. But there is no evidence other than that.
