Claudia Pawson [8 August 2008]

Hi, I am an admin for WeRelate. Thanks so much for participating. It's my job to help peolple get the most out of our community. I noticed you had a page Person:Raymond Pawson (1) and a page Person:Claudia Pawson (1). Claudia's page had Raymond's information on it. I renamed the page Person:Raymond Pawson (2). However, it appears that both Raymond pages are for the same person. Would you like me to delete the duplicate page? Let me know if I can help in any way.  :)--sq 16:09, 14 September 2007 (EDT)

I just found these posts. Sorry, sometimes I'm really slow...lol Any help is appericiated I am confused by this site. I am Claudia Pawson Goodman & Raymond Lynn Pawson is my father. Benjamin Cutbright [11 January 2008]

Would you have any objection if I added additional information to your article on person:Benjamin Cutbright (2)?--Bill 21:07, 11 January 2008 (EST)

[13 January 2008]

I don't know how much new information I'll be adding, but what I'm looking at is the addition of specific sources. Primarily from Source:Thwaites, 1902---iThwaites is drawing on the Draper MSC, but does not cite the specific letters he used. Some of these letters are quoted by various people in connection with Benjamin, but they don't point to the specific folio in the Draper MSC, just the persons and the dates. I'd eventually like to pin point these letters better. If more information comes to my hand I may try to expand the article sometime in the future, but I don't want to interfer with what you are doing either. So I asked. [9 December 2008]

Hi, My duplicates wants me to merge my page Joseph Saunders and unknown(1) with your page Tobias Saunders and Isabel Wilde (1). I got my info from my sister and don t' know the source. I did not see a source for Tobias and Isabel although you have the following generation well documented. I did find this page http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~soper/31/30922.htm which supports the Joseph idea. Both sets of parents claim Tobias Saunders (b. 6 Feb 1628/9)as a son. what do you think? Should we leave both parents in for now or delete Joseph? Sheri--Sheri 18:54, 9 December 2008 (EST)

Thomas Edward Scott I, II, & III [23 April 2009]

Hello Claudia,

I have no relation to your Thomas Edward Scott I, II, & III. WeRelate is currently working hard to merge duplicate person and family pages. I noticed that some of your pages were duplicates. To see which pages were merged, you can click on My Relate in the blue menu bar, and then click on Watchlist. Let me know if you have any further questions or if you would like more information on merging your duplicates. -Volunteer Administrator,--Jennifer (JBS66) 06:49, 23 April 2009 (EDT)

My Pawson Ancestors .GED appears to overlap a previously-imported GEDCOM [13 October 2009]

The pages from this GEDCOM have not yet been generated because they appear to match pages from a GEDCOM you have previously imported to WeRelate.

If you have already imported a GEDCOM containing people in this GEDCOM and you want to replace that tree with this GEDCOM, you need to delete that tree first so duplicates aren't created when you import this GEDCOM. Click on Trees in the "My Relate" menu, then click on the "delete" link next to that tree. Please be aware that any pages in the tree that are being watched by others won't get deleted. Once that tree is deleted you can create a new tree and re-upload this GEDCOM into it. (We're planning to make re-uploading GEDCOM files much simpler soon.)

If you don't think you have already imported a GEDCOM containing people in this GEDCOM, or if the two GEDCOM's don't overlap that much, leave a message for Dallan or send an email to dallan@WeRelate.org and we'll go ahead with the import.

Renaming pages [15 November 2010]

Hello Pawsonlady, I noticed that you edited a few pages titled Living. Since you've added details to indicate these people are no longer living, you can rename the pages. For example Person:Living Pawson (8), you can click Rename in the Left menu and type William Pawson in the box. Please don't include middle names or the (#) at the end, the software will do that for you. Renaming the pages will help others find them easier. Let me know if you have any questions. Thank you, (volunteer admin) --Jennifer (JBS66) 14:35, 15 November 2010 (EST)

I am totally lost. I just updated the aunts & uncles that have passed away. I'm not sure what you are asking me to do.--Lilfox 14:45, 15 November 2010 (EST)

Hi, I moved your response here - just to keep the topic together. Sorry if I was confusing... I noticed that - for example - Person:Living Pawson (8) is titled Living Pawson. That page indicates his name was William Albert Pawson. Since he is no longer living, you can rename the page so it no longer says Living Pawson.

To do that, you can go to his page, click on Rename on the left side of the page. On the next screen, you can give it a new title of William Pawson (just be sure not to add his middle name on this screen, titles are only First Name Last Name). --Jennifer (JBS66) 14:53, 15 November 2010 (EST)

Hi there, i just found this site and looked up my mothers parents, Paul and Lena. I noticed you are watching this site. How are you related to them. Very fun looking at the records of my grandma Lena.--Terilarsson 23:33, 22 November 2011 (EST)

Are you talking about Paul Blackmer & Lena Brunson? Lena is my husband's grand Aunt. Lena's sister Sylvia is his grandmother. my email is pawsonlady@yahoo.com. Claudia Goodman--Lilfox 03:47, 23 November 2011 (EST)

Just saw your comment. Yes, Lena Blackmer was my grandmother. My mother was Joyce Milner, who passed away three years ago in Brookings, Oregon. I just happened to google my grandparents name and found this site. I figured that whoever did this family tree must be related to Sylvia. My grandmother was actually raised by her older brother and his wife and grew up with the name of Lena Garrett. She went to live with them in Los Angeles when her mother died of consumption. She was 9 months old at the time. I have the little rocking chair they bought her when she came to live with them. It is a precious family memento. I always had heard I was English, Irish and Dutch. Your research confirms this nicely. How in the world did you research this back to the 1500's? So very interesting.--Terilarsson 20:51, 27 November 2011 (EST)

[27 November 2011]

Hello, Pawsonlady. I am Pat Anderson, the daughter of Mary Mayenschein Baird, who was one of the six children of Otto Leo and Bessie Cranson Mayenschein. I was hoping there was a way to update the information on that particular family group, I don't have it all immediately available but I can definitely get it. All of the siblings are deceased, so the names and other information could be added if I knew how. Are you by any chance related to Gladys Mayenschein? I remember meeting her mother and am quite sure their family name is Pawson...?--Pat Anderson 02:19, 27 November 2011 (EST)

[28 November 2011]

It's me again . I just found by looking at the site, that my grandma Lena Bruson was actually raised by her Uncle John Thomas Garrett and her aunt Pearl Rule. After my grandma was adopted by them, they soon after had Elva, who I always knew as Aunt Elva . After John passed away, Pearl went to Los Angeles to live with her son Forrest. I did not know my grandma was adopted until about 20 years ago.--Terilarsson 21:20, 27 November 2011 (EST)

Gertrude WOODWARD [14 October 2012]

Gertrude WOODWARD is most likely my Great Grandmother, born in Radford, Nottingham. I can provide some information based on her roots in Nottingham.--AGod 06:46, 14 October 2012 (EDT)

I'd LOVE anything you have on Gertrude. She was married to my 2nd cousin 2x removed, Charles Wright Winter. I also have a tree in Ancestry.com that has her married twice. 1901 census shows her married to an Earnest Woodward, I'm not sure this is correct. If you'll email me personally I'll send you an invitation to see that tree. pawsonlady "at' yahoo "dot" com Thank you for any help you're willing to share. Claudia--Lilfox 12:47, 14 October 2012 (EDT)
