Next step: Review your GEDCOM [17 April 2010]

You're not done yet!

WeRelate is different from most family tree websites. By contributing to WeRelate you are helping to create Pando for genealogy, a free, unified family tree that combines the best information from all contributors.

Now that you have uploaded clan of flint 03-14-2010.ged, your next step is to review what your pages will look like, review any potential warnings, and combine (merge) people in your GEDCOM with matching people already on WeRelate. You need to review your GEDCOM before it can finish importing.

Note: if your gedcom contains many errors or multiple families, we’d ask that you resolve and correct the errors, delete this gedcom and re-submit it without the errors before merging it with families already on WeRelate. If the gedcom is very large, we’d suggest breaking it up into separate lines and importing them one at a time, which makes the review and correction process easier.

Click here to review your GEDCOM

Once you have finished your review and marked your GEDCOM Ready to import, one of our administrators will review your GEDCOM and finalize the import. This usually happens within 24 hours. You will receive a message here when the pages have been created.

Robert Marshall (34), B 1801 Exeter St Thomas, d St Pancras London 1883 [4 July 2011]

Hello Niccihart I have an ancestor: CD DFHS Baptised at Tavistock Workhouse, 19 Nov 1830, Betsy Marshall KINSMAN, the base born child of widow, Mary Ann KINSMAN. Her mother, Mary Ann KINSMAN, died in the workhouse in 1832. I assume that Betsy is the same person who appears in the 1851 Census as Elizabeth MARSHALL, living with the Rector of Lifton and occupied as a school room girl at Lifton. She gives her birth place as Tavistock. In 1852 she marries a Richard BROWN at Lifton and names her father as Robert MARSHALL, tailor. Years later they name their 4th born son Robert Marshall BROWN.

Do you have any information that could help me confirm this link? Thanks Trev--Trev 05:07, 4 July 2011 (EDT)

Frank Achurch - Plumstead [8 March 2017]

Hello Niccihart,

Not sure if Frank was your relative - if so this may be of interest. We live in Plumstead in an old house (1890 ish ) about a mile from Eglinton Road. We stripped back one of the rooms recently and there's an old fireplace. The inside of the fireplace stone is engraved (properly, rather than grafitti) with 'Frank Achurch - Woolwich' so may be your ancestors' work.

Turns out it's iron - not stone as previously thought--Richiep 19:49, 9 March 2017 (UTC)
