It's nice to hear from a cousin on that side of the family. I have been using the Van Benschoten book extensively, and corroborating the primary records I can turn up. I think you can see that my side is through Elias, Isaac, Aaron, William, Oliver, and Nellie. That branch seems to have been mostly pioneers, continuously pushing westward; as I recall, the Gerrit line stuck closer to Kingston, did that hold true down the generations? If so, we may be neighbours (I'm in western CT). My work has focussed mainly on my branch of the family, though my mother entered a lot of information from the book for other lines, though I don't think she hit your side. Some of the information on the Gerrit side came from another WeRelate user who, sadly, has been absent for some time. It would be great to have all the branches filled out. If you have other sources that would help with this, or if you see any errors or missing information on WeRelate, let me know.
