Your Niagara ancestry [4 November 2011]

Hi, Micki,

My name is Kathy and I am absolutely a novice in we relate - I just joined so that I could send you a message.

I found you as a "Watcher" - whatever that is, although I can take a couple guesses - on the page for Stephen Childs. Stephen was an ancestor of some of my Ortt relatives, and I'm thinking he might also be an ancestor of some other Niagara County relatives. When I read your bio, I saw that you had been doing some research in the Niagara region.

I am the historian for the descendants of Alexander Wilson and Jane Armour, whose son, Alexander Jr, and his family came to Niagara County about 1835. We have a lot of history in the county, and spreading across the country. I was wondering if you might be interested in sharing some of the names you were researching in that area to see if perhaps any of them connect with the Wilson family, or any of the collateral families that we have information about - and there are a lot of them! Our family genealogy has always included as much information as we could get about collateral families - sometimes I have to stop myself and try to remember which is the main family!

It seems that this is a discussion thread. Is there a way that we could talk privately without making our email addresses public information here?--Tiagatita 21:29, 3 November 2011 (EDT)

I see your name with the page on "Thomas Brooks and Elizabeth Donahugh". These are relatives of mine, are you related to them?
