McEnery Family [26 October 2008]

Are you part of the Chicago McEnerys or the Bronx/Erie/NJ McEnerys? I ordered some research from the Limerick Heritage Center, and that gave me some baptisms for my McEnerys, including the names of two children that I had not known about. I also order microfilm of records from the LDS Family History Library.--Acurley 15:05, 16 July 2008 (EDT)

I'm just getting used to this werelate...this is my 3rd try on responding to you. Old dog...new trick...

I am from the Chicago McE clan. Daniel F b 1887 + Eva Schreiber were my grandparents

I am going to Ireland in Sept 2008 and hope to get docs to support Dr John McE earlier findings.

Do not know the Limerick group you mentioned, are they in Adaire? Did you use them to locate docs on the Chgo families or just the east coast families? How far back did they search?

Found my Hanora Fitzgerald (+ John b 1852) baptismal record last year in Abbeyfaile, Co Limerick but no McEnery. Any advice?--mem 15:24, 18 July 2008 (EDT)

Limerick City Library is the place to go. They have pretty much taken over the work of the old research center. I don't know how much is available for you to look at on your own. Perhaps you could send them an e-mail telling them what you are interested in seeing. http://www.limerickcity.ie/Library/ --Acurley 10:18, 3 September 2008 (EDT)

How did your trip to Ireland go?--Acurley 09:19, 26 October 2008 (EDT)
