Naming on Stoghill, Sturgill pages [10 August 2010]

Hello, I came across several of your Stoghill, Sturgill pages today. You had duplicate surnames in the name field "Stoghill or Sturgill"; also you had dates included in the name field "James b. 1695 Stoghill". I have revised all of these names to 1) remove the dates and 2) only placed the prominent spelling "Stoghill" and added "Sturgill" as an alternate name on their pages. In the future, please only list the most prominent, or "most common" spelling in the name field, with the less common surnames as "alternate spellings", and please do not put dates in the name fields. This makes the matching process very difficult and is not in agreement of the WeRelate Naming Conventions. Please consult the Help Section under "Naming Convention" if you have any further questions.

Thank you:)

Family:Wiley Young and Dollie Skief (1)

All of the children of this family have the surname Williams. Is this correct? --Beth 09:45, 9 October 2011 (EDT)
