grave stone picture [28 June 2009]

Hi,

I need to know if you took the picture. If you did, you can mark it public domain. I assume you don't care if someone copies the photo to add to their genealogy file. If someone else took the picture and you reduced it before uploading, you have reduced the resolution and should choose that option. As long as the picture was reduced enough that enlarging it to the original size make it less clear, you can publish it under the fair use doctrine.

Let me know if you have any questions. --sq 12:58, 29 May 2009 (EDT)

what picture is it? if you can let me know who it's attached to then I can answer your question. chances are it was one of my relatives who took the picture and emailed to me. how do I handle it for credit?--HeidiShuler 18:01, 28 June 2009 (EDT)

--- Hello Hiedi,

It's an image of a gravestone. Image:Robinson, Alvin E. - cemetery.jpg. As long as you significantly reduced the image, it doesn't matter who took the picture--its fair use. The image appears to be attached to a page from a binder. I assumed that you had reduced it and marked it according. --sq 14:36, 29 June 2009 (EDT)

Duplicate pages [28 June 2009]

Hello Heidi, The following pages are duplicates Family:Halfdan Christensen and Dagmar Rustad (1), Family:Halfdan Christensen and Dagmar Rustad (2), and Family:Halfdan Christensen and Dagmar Rustad (3). Do you want to merge your on pages or should I? The children of this couple are also duplicated. Which name do you prefer to use for Thomas, Thomas Christensen or Torbjorn Christensen? --Volunteer Administrator-Beth 09:05, 4 June 2009 (EDT)

Hi Beth. Thanks for your comment. Yes, I realize I have a few duplicates but am not sure how to fix it. I would gladly do it myself, I just need to figure it out. Also, the name should be "Torbjorn" as that is his birth certificate name, he naturalized and went by Thomas in America. Have a great night! Heidi Shuler--HeidiShuler 02:56, 28 June 2009 (EDT)

Heidi, I see that Jillaine merged the above mentioned pages. If all is correct, you can remove the merge template.

To locate all of of your duplicates, on the blue menu bar select MyRelate>show duplicates. There are brief instructions on this page or you can select more help for more detailed instructions. If you make a mistake you can always unmerge and repeat the process. If you have any questions, I will be happy to help.--Beth 08:30, 28 June 2009 (EDT)

Thanks for the info. I actually figured it out on my own right after I sent the reply. Thanks for all your help!--HeidiShuler 18:00, 28 June 2009 (EDT)

Earl stephens [17 February 2012]

Hey, noticed you were watching an earl stephens. He is my grandpa. Just thought I would drop you a note if you are still active on here. --Spork 18:18, 17 February 2012 (EST)

Andreas Andersen [9 September 2012]

Hi

This person Person:Andreas_Andersen_(2) can't be parents to Person:Ole_Andreasen_(1). Reason for this, is that Ole Andreasen was born on the farm Helgebye, so was his older sister Johanne Maria Andreasen in 1826. Ole Andreasen did confirmation in the church at age 15 and Johanne Maria at age 17, both did live at the farm Helgebye at this time. Mothers name in Parish record is Inger Maria Johnsdatter (Daugther of John) and not Maria Johannesdatter (Daugther of Johannes).

Both child is born after parents marriage, so it is impossible that Andreas Andersen who was married 8 Nov 1827 can be parents to this kids Real Parents was married 20 Sep 1822 in Tune. Andreas Andersen was born at the farm Buanes and did grow up there and moved to Helgebye after Marriage

Our shared Hunt genealogy [16 June 2022]

Hi Heidi. Have you seen what we have discovered about the family story or legend that our original Hunt was actually a Hunt orphan raised by Hunts? We have, suing DNA confirmed McFarland cousins and are hard at work on actually how we fit with these McFarlands.
