I believe YOUR John FLINT to be the Virginia soldier. See the probate file in which his property included a ship's maul and ship carpenter tools.

I descended from the other John FLINT on Skinframe Creek.

Do you have a lead to your John's parents? I think they were in Maryland after the war. After the woman, I believe, to be his mother died, then he moved to Kentucky.--Grandmakr 16:23, 8 July 2020 (UTC)
