I am John Major Conwell's daughter by his 1st wife, Edith Smith. I have posted my full genealogy on ancestry.com with almost 8000 people! I have quite a bit on the Conwell family, but of course, I don't have everything.

My name is Edith Robinson Conwell Irwin -- the Robinson also comes from ancestors on the Conwell side of the tree. Edith is obviously from my mother.

What is your connection to the Conwells?

Hi Dee, My connection to this family is through Rebecca Conkling who married Isaac Conwell. Rebecca was a sister of my ancestor Pierson Conkling. I have done a lot of research on the Conklin/Conkling family. You will probably find a lot of information on your earlier Conwell family members on my pages as I was able to do a lot of research on them in Indiana. I don't know how you see a whole tree but if you click on http://www.werelate.org/wiki/Person:Joseph_Conkling_%286%29 you will see the earliest verified Conklin ancestor.
