Living people [5 December 2011]

I noticed that you have created pages for people who are still living (for example: this person). WeRelate's policy does not allow the creation of pages for living people due to privacy concerns. Please delete your Person and Family pages for living people by clicking on More>Delete from the menu on the left. You can use templates such as Template:Pedigree3 to connect family lines using a chart on your User page. Thank you, --Jennifer (JBS66) 15:12, 5 December 2011 (EST)

Caap de Goede Hoop & Cape Colony [8 December 2011]

Hello Doreyventer, I see that you created two new place pages, Place:Caap de Goede Hoop and Place:Cape Colony. Generally, WeRelate titles its places as they were around 1900. Within each page, you can list alternate spellings for a location. Place:Cape, South Africa lists "Cape of Good Hope" as an alternate spelling. Is Caap de Goede Hoop the Dutch spelling of Place:Cape, South Africa? I'll need a bit of help from you to determine if these places are duplicates of pages that are already in our database. Apologies for only getting back to you on this now. I have not worked out how to delete a page yet (not using a regular browser).

Could you possibly delete all 3 of them for me please? (2x Living Venter & Living Dorey-Venter)

No apologies necessary :) I deleted the three pages for living people. In the future, if you are the only watcher of a page, you can click on More>Delete from the menu on the left to delete a page.
