I found Lydia Pearson Follansbee's grave in Alna, ME. She was a first cousin of Mary (Molly) Pearson, and the first wife of Abiel Pearson Follansbee (as noted on her gravestone), Molly's second husband. Adjacent to Lydia's grave is that of her brother Jeremiah Pearson and his family. There seem to be living Pearson descendants around since there is a substantial new family gravestone that has been placed 50 or 60 feet away from the old stones. The Alna Graveyard is on Route 218 just north of Wiscasset. Alna was formerly known as New Milford. Abiel Pearson Follansbee is listed as "of New Milford" at his marriage to Mary (Pearson) Brown, May 16, 1818. Mary(Molley) Pearson (who is buried in Waterville) is my GGG grandmother by her first marriage to Stephen Brown, Jr. of Newbury, MA. Abiel P and Lydia Follansbee had five children: Pearson 1808 - 1846 Jeremiah 1809 - 1914 Temperance 1813 - 1894 Eliza 1814 - 1890 Lydia 1816 - 1842 Abiel P and Mary had one child: Prescott 1820 - 1893--Jim.doore 19:06, 24 March 2012 (EDT) [add comment] [edit] the Ford side of Sally [25 August 2013]hi, Cheryl. im the adopted daughter of Ed Ford's sister,Olga. i was reading your story and didn't notice any mention of Laurence(Lawrence)Ford. and you are kinda close geographically speaking.
