Confused on this on Person:Sijtze Postma van der Kooi (1). Genlias lists his surname as van der Kooi, and not Postma van der Kooi. Which do we want to go with for the surname?

AF akte for the death of Romke Douwes Bootsma. Says "she" is a daughter and she died at 41 years old in 1864. But her parents were married in 1862 and not old enough to have a child of 41. So, this is most likely Person:Romke Bootsma (1) (male) who was born in 1864 (with another Romke being born later in 1866).

Confusion.... AF death for Sijmen Klazes Terpstra states his parents were Klaas Terpstra and Barbera Drost. His likely marriage certificate index, [3] states his parents were Nicolaas Tjallings Terpstra and Berber Thomas de Haan. His wife, Johanna Plantinga died in 1893, AF. That certificate lists her parents as Uiltje Plantinga and Hiske van der Meer, which resembles the potential marriage index. Further notes, there is no Barbera Drost married to a Terpstra in Genlias; why did Sijmen take on the patronymic name of Klazes?

Klaas Klazes Terpstra married Iemkjen Uiltjes Plantinga in 1856, AF. Lists his parents as Klaas Tjallings Terpstra and Berber Thomas de Haan. Her parents listed as Uiltje Oeges Plantinga and Hiske Willems van der Meer.

Parents?

AF 1823 marriage of Nicolaas Tjallings Terpstra and Barbara Thomas de Haan. Death certificate for a Klaas Tjallings Terpstra AF. Both Nicolaas and Klaas would be born ~1785. Most likely the same person, he just shortened his name from Nicolaas to Klaas. Would Family:Tjalling Klazes and Tjitske Tjepkes (1) then be his parents?

Find proof that Pieter Jans Wijngaarden and Cornelis Jans Wijngaarden were brothers. On their death certificates, [4] [5], both are listed as born in Oudebildtzijl, Het Bildt.
