My name is Diane Terpstra Quale, I live in Wisconsin, USA. In 2010 I started researching my father's family from Friesland beginning with the ship manifest for my grandfather Terpstra to the U.S. I am looking for descendants of his grandparents Johannes Jacobs Terpstra and Jentske Piers Lycklama a Nijeholt. They had 3 children; Wapke (Siebe Reitsma), Johannes (Jantje Boersma) and my great grandfather Pierius (Wapke Attema). There were half-siblings; Trijntje de Boer (Evert Marra) and Tjitske de Boer (Klaas Ruurd Kuipers) from Jentske's marriage to Bernardus Rientses de Boer after Johannes' death in 1855.
