[add comment] [edit] Defect 1Not Wright. [Not right?] [add comment] [edit] Defect 2Savage is citing the very evidence that shows he is wrong. The 1746 will he mentions is proved in 1746 and clearly does not belong to a man who died in 1759. Further, the 1759 probate file names no children and clearly does not belong to this man. See Person:Joseph Brooks (12) and Person:Joseph Brooks (13). Because he gets the death date wrong, he uses an age at death that does not apply and has a bad estimated birth date. Nor is Joseph the youngest son. --Jrich 04:31, 2 August 2016 (UTC) [add comment] [edit] Defect 3Savage misreports the marriage date as 26 Jun 1704 when the record says 26 Jun 1706. Perhaps he assumed a different date to allow for a daughter Mary b. 1705? If so, he was clearly unaware of the first wife Abigail, and unaware that Mary's birth record names her mother as that first wife Abigail. The marriage record to Abigail 1703[/04], the birth of Mara 10 Jan 1704/5, and the death of wife Abigail 2 weeks later, are plainly recorded in Concord records. --Jrich 04:53, 2 August 2016 (UTC) |
