Source:Bond, Henry. Family Memorials. Genealogies of the Families and Descendants of the Early Settlers of Watertown, Massachusetts, Including Waltham and Weston (1855)
, p. 721, says this Joseph Brooks m. 1703 Abigail Bateman. However,
Source:TAG
, p. 53:98 says that Joseph Brooks was the son of Joshua who d. 1746 in his 46th year [so born about the same time]. Gershom Brooks' probate documents indicate his son Joseph was born about 1683, as he was 18 in 1701. Therefore this Joseph must have died young.
