    Daniel Brooks, s/o Gershom, b. 14 Mar 1677/8, m. (1) Anna ---, m. (2) (int.) 19 Feb 1757 Caroline Prescott, m. (3) Concord 2 Dec 1768 Lydia Burrage.
[Note that the asserted 2nd and 3rd marriages occur at age 79 and 90, respectively. This seems unlikely. On top of that, there is a death record in Acton for a Caroline Brooks, "wid. Daniel", in 1806, age 69. This would put her birth about 1737, which would make 1757 very likely the time she would have been marrying for the first time, probably to a man nearer her own age. Without the intermediate marriage, it seems unlikely the third marriage is the same man. So, this strongly suggests it was another Daniel Brooks involved in both of these later marriages. Further, this source says Daniel's son Josiah went to Westford, and the Westford VRs show Daniel "father of Josiah" d. there in 1769, about 8 days shy of 91, [so born 1678, matching perfectly] and Anna "mother of Josiah" d. there in 1760. Since this source says the Anna "wife of Daniel" who d. Concord 1757 is the first wife, none of the information given about his wives in this source seems correct, except that his first (and apparently only) wife was named Anna.]
