preced. had Daniel, b. 5 Mar. 1699; James, 20 Apr. 1700; Thomas, 1
Apr. 1702; Deborah, 6 Mar. 1704; Ebenezer, 24 Dec. 1708; and Ann,
28 Apr., 1712. He inherit. his father's gift, as a natural bonesetter,
and d. 18 Jan. 1727; and his wid. Deborah, prob. mo. of all the
ch. d. 14 May 1765. EDWARD, Roxbury, came 1636, with two ch.
John, a. 3 yrs. old; and William a. 1 yr.; and by w. Elizabeth here had Elizabeth
bapt. 25 Dec. 1637; Hannah, b. 18 Oct. 1639; Mary, bapt. 29 May 1642;
Joseph, 25 May 1644; Deborah, b. 26 Apr. bapt. 3 May 1646; was
freem. 17 May 1637, rem. to Boston; there Elizabeth m. 23 Feb. 1659,
Joshua Nash; Hannah m. Apr. 1663, Fathergone Dinely; and Mary m.
Peter Bennett. EXPERIENCE, Hadley, s. of the first Samuel of the same,
m. Abigail, youngest d. of Samuel Williams of Roxbury, had there ten
ch. and rem. 1725 to Mansfield. GEORGE, Salem 1647. Felt. HEZEKIAH,
Hadley, freem. 1690, was of Samuel of the same, had ten ch.
there, rem. to Hartford, and had two more. HEZEKIAH, Windsor, s. of
the sec. John of the same, m. 7 June 1700, Mary Bissell, had, as Stiles
says, 754, Hezekiah, b. 7 July 1699; Deborah, 1 Mar 1703; James, 11
May 1706; Lois, 19 Mar. 1708; and Samuel, 23 Mar. 1709. In the
list of Errata, I see no correction of supicious dates. ISRAEL, Salem,
d. 30 Jan. 1678, aged 32. ISRAEL, Salem, s. of John of the same, m.
20 Nov. 1672, Elizabeth d. of William Hathorne, had Elizabeth b. 2 Oct. 1673;
Sarah, 24 Aug. 1675; John, 24 Sept. 1677; Gingen, a d. 8 Dec. 1679;
Mary, 22 Sept. 1681, d. at 9 mos.; Israel, 4 Apr. 1683; Benjamin, 4
Sept. 1685, d. at 6 yrs.; Ann, 17 June 1687; William, 12 Feb. 1689;
and Benjamin, again, 17 May 1693; was selectman 1686, and freem.
1690, then of the vill. now Danvers. ISRAEL, Hadley, freem. 1684.
JAMES, Windsor, sec. s. of the sec. John of the same, m. 15 Jan. 1680,
Sarah, eldest d. of Owen Tudor, had James, b. 13 Oct. 1680, d. soon;
Mary, 4 June 1682, d. at 2 yrs. Isaac, 13 July 1683, d. 1 May foll.;
Mary, 23 Sept. 1684.; and Sarah, 31 May 1686; went to Eng. was in
1690 a merch. of distinct. in London, wh. declin. the office of agent for
the Col. JOHN, Windsor, among the earliest sett. 1638 and so it is by
some presumed that he went from Dorchester, but more prob. is it, that
he had been short time only in Mass. and accomp. Rev. Ephraim Hewett,
bring beside the six ch. ment. in his will, Sarah and Joseph, nam.
by Goodwin, constable 1640, rep. 1646 and 7; and add. to ch. by
w. Rose, b. prob. in Eng. at W. had Nathaniel, b. 19 July 1640; and
Ann, sometimes call. Hannah, 4 Sept. 1642; and Parsons, in Geneal.
Reg. V. 359, says he d. 21 Apr. 1648, and was bur. next day. But his
will of the day preced. was not carr. to Court bef. June of next yr. It
gives eldest s. John, £100; sec. James, £60; Samuel, Nathaniel, Rebecca,
Rose, Mary, and Ann, ea. £30. His wid. was bur. 20 days aft.
