Ann, b. 2 Oct. 1689; Sarah, 30 Sept. 1692; Robert, wh. d. 28 May
1694; and Robert, again, 18 May 1695. SAMUEL, Windsor, by w.
Sarah, m. 18 Nov. 1642, had Issac, b. 16 Mar. 1646; Samuel, 4 Mar.
1648; Nathaniel, 21 Sept. 1650; and Sarah, 11 Feb. 1653; and he d.
14 Mar. 1655. His s. Nathaniel was k. with his capt. Marshall in the
great Narraganset fight, 19 Dec. 1675. Sarah m. Jonathan Hayt. or
Hoyt, wh. sett. at Guilford. SAMUEL, Branford 1668, sign. the planta.
and ch. covenant, and may therefore be thot. of ano. fam. or possib. was
s. of the preced. He m. 1670, Miriam, d. of Thomas Blatchley of B.
THOMAS, perhaps, for the surname is doubtful on the rec. of the customho.
and by Mr. Hunter thot. as near to Pount as Pond, a passeng. in the
Elizabeth and Ann, from London, 1635, aged 21. See the later read.

the first Robert of the same, b. in Eng. m. Mary, d. of George Dyer, had
Samuel, wh. d. 2 Oct. 1657; Elizabeth and Martha, tw. 17 Feb. 1658, both
d. in few days; Judith, 16 Oct. 1659; Thankful, 15 Jan. 1662; George
20 Jan. 1666; and Mindwell, 24 Aug. 1667; and perhaps William;
was constable 1659, and d. 4 Apr. 1690, call. serg. and Judge Sewall
says he d. suddenly. His wid. it is said, d. 16 Feb. 1711. Thankful m.
17 Nov. 1682, Philip Withington, and d. 23 Dec. 1711. Rebecca P. aged 18,
came in the Bevis from Southampton, 1638, one of the serv. of
Christopher batt. of the city of Salisbury. Of this name two had been
gr. at Harv. one at Yale, and six at other N. E. coll. in 1826.

    PONDER, JOHN, Westfield, m. 26 June 1668, Temperance, d. of
Thomas Buckland, had Susanna, b. 11 Mar. 1669; John, Nov. 1670, d.
young; Mary, 30 Sept. 1672; Eliz. 3 Feb. 1675; Nathaniel, 3 Sept.
1677; John, again, 11 Mar. 1680; Thomas, 5 Mar. 1682; Martha, 27
Feb. 1684; and Sarah, 28 July 1686, d. at 4 yrs. He d. 1712, and his
wid. d. 27 Oct. 1732.
