The will of the f. was of 12 May 1705, pro. 2 Oct. 1706, unless there
be confus. betw. f. and s. of the same bapt. name, wh. seems very prob.
THOMAS, Boston, m. 25 Aug. 1659, Hannah, d. of Thomas Bray of New
Haven, had Thomas, b. 19 Feb. 1665. He was, perhaps, that s. of
Thomas of London, b. 8 Feb. 1632, who. 1647, chose for his guardian,
Thomas Mayhew, wh. had m. in London his mo. Jane. THOMAS, Newtown,
L. I. 1656. Riker, 43. THOMAS, York, sw. alleg. 1680. THOMAS,
Dover 1659, constable 1687, made his will 17 Oct. 1694, pro. 1700,
ment. w. Eliz wh. was name. extrix. and ch. Thomas, Jane, Eliz, Catharine,
and Ann, said to be all minors. THOMAS, Dedham, s. of Thomas
sec. of the same. m. 25 Apr. 1671, Rebecca Peck, had no ch. His w.
d. 28 Nov. 1682; and he had sec. w. Margaret, wh. prob. brot. him that
Thomas wh. d. 6 Sept. 1686; Margaret, wh. d. ten days aft. her br. 16
Sept. 1686; and Thomas, again, b. 5 Sept. 1687, wh. d. at 10 yrs. his
mo. hav. d. some yrs. preced.; and he m. next, 20 Aug. 1689, Mary
Lawson, had Mary, b. 16 Aug. 1698, and his third w. d. 5 Apr. 1718.
He made his will 24 Jan. 1726, pro. 25 Feb. foll. THOMAS, Eastham,
prob. s. of Thomas of the same, m. 5 Aug. 1678, Hannah Shaw, had

Thomas, 28 Feb. 1682; Hannah, again, 12 May 1684; Jonathan, 1 Feb.

1689; Phebe, 14 Mar. 1691, d. young; Elkanah, 1 Feb. 1693; Moses,
28 Sept. 1695; Joshua, 28 Aug. 1697; Phebe, again, 11 Feb. 1699;
Lydia, 4 Dec. 1700; and Barnabas, 13 Nov. 1705. THOMAS, Newport
1683, very active as capt. of a privateer many yrs. and one of the found.
of the Episcop. ch. in the place, of wh. much may be seen in the valua.
Hist. of Arnold, I. 471, and aft. TOBIAS, Boston, came from Jamaica,
m. 1665, Sarah, wid. of Miles Standish, jr. d. of John Winslow, had
William, 21 Jan. 1669, H. C. 1689, and he d. 12 Sept. 1669, with so
short notice, that his will was nuncup. In it he provides only for his s.
and the wid. who. obtain. 3d h. Richard Middlecot. WILLIAM, Ipswich,
came in the Increase from London, 1635, aged 37, with Ann, prob. his
w. 40; beside Susan, 11; William, 10; Ann, 5; John, 3; and Daniel,
8 wks.; freem. 13 May 1640, may have been first at Watertown some
few yrs. had large est. and used it in a publ. spirit, rem. to Boston, and
d. 10 Oct. 1660, leav. only s. John, bef. ment. His will, made 8 days
bef. pro. 14 Nov. foll. in our Vol. of rec. I. 345, provides £200 to his w.
Hannah, and the dwel.-ho. for life; £1,500 to the 3 ch. of his d. Hannah,
w. of Samuel Appleton, viz.: Hannah, 600; Samuel, 500; and
