1660, s. of the preced. rem. to Salem, there m. 1 Aug. 1664, Susanna,
d. of Michael Spencer, had Daniel, b. 1665; Alice, 28 Oct. 1669, d.
soon; Susanna, 18 July 1670; Mary, 8 June 1673; Michael, 23
Oct. 1676; Lydia, 23 Feb. 1679, d. young; and John, 24 Jan. 1681.
DANIEL, Dedham, s. of John of the same, m. 21 Apr. 1685, Elizabeth Martin,
perhaps d. of Richard, had Daniel, Isaac, and Timothy. FRANCIS, Boston,
of wh. I see no more, exc. that he was freem. 1665. GEORGE,
Hingham, a mason, came in the Increase, from London 1635, aged 43,
with ch. Samuel, 12; Susan, 10; and John, 8; and d. 1642. Lincoln's

Nathaniel the first, m. 10 Dec. 1686, Elizabeth Howes, perhaps d. of Joseph of

Jan. 1690; all bapt. 26 Apr. 1691, as in Geneal. Reg. X. 347, but with
wrong name, Pason, instead of Bacon; Samuel, 15, bapt. 17 Apr. 1692;
Joseph, 15, bapt. 23 June 1695; Ebenezer, 11 Mar. bapt. 19 June 1698; Elizabeth
bapt. 17 Sept. 1699, d. soon; Nathaniel, 11, bapt. 15 Sept. 1700; Job. b. 23
Mar. 1703; and Elizabeth again, 6 Aug. 1705. JOHN, Dedham, s. of Michael the
first, of the same, b. in Ireland, as tradit. gives it, freem. 1647, (the name spell.
with k) by w. Rebecca had John, b. 17 July 1656; Rebecca, 1658, wh. m. 13
Feb. 1679, John Gay; Daniel, 10 Mar. 1661, bef. ment.; Samuel, 8 Oct.
1665; and Thomas, 23 Aug. 1667; beside Mary, wh. m. Nathaniel
Kingsbury; and Susanna, wh. m. Jonathan Dewing; and he d. 17 June
1683. His wid. d. 27 Oct. 1694. Of this first John descend. still enjoy
part of their ancestral prop. and from this stock is the Rev. Leonard of
New Haven, the perspicacious stud. of early N. E. manners. JOHN,
Charlestown, perhaps s. of Daniel the first, for all the knowl. of
wh. we are indebt. to Hammond's Diary, relat. that his ch. (as if
he had but one) d. 18 Mar. his w. on 20th, and hims. on 7 Apr.
1678, all of smallpox. By Mr. Wyman I am inform. that he m. 2
Sept. 1668, Susanna, d. of James Draper, had John, b. 27 Aug. 1670;
Susanna, 3 Jan. 1672; and Ephraim, 17 Nov. 1675. The day bef. his
d. he made his will in favor of the two s. of wh. John was liv. sev. yrs. aft.
