1693. His will, of 1692, provides for sec. w. Lydia, the two s. and ds.
Ann; Eliz. Brooks, w. of Nathaniel; Mary Badcocke; and Martha
Clark, w. of Thomas. So it is to be infer. that the youngest two ds. d.
bef. their f. RICHARD, Wallingford, had three s. and a d. wh. m.
Nathaniel Howe, but of the four, only Isaac is nam. This f. d. 17
Sept. 1681. SAMUEL, Northampton 1668. SAMUEL, Scituate, s. of
Thomas, by w. Elizabeth had Elizabeth b. 164; Samuel, 1695; Benjamin,
1699; and Abigail, 1703. SAMUEL Scituate, youngest s. of William,
m. 1707, Ann Barstow, had Samuel, b. 1708; Ann, 1711; Martha,
1713; Miriam, 171; Deborah, 1717; Simeon, 1 June 1720; Amos,
1722; and Mehitable, 1726. THEOPHILUS, Woburn, freem. 1684.
THOMAS, Wethersfield, an early sett. had John, b. 1639; James, 1641;
Joseph, 1644; Samuel, 1646; Isaac, 1647; Elizabeth and Ruth; all liv. 13
Nov. 1681, at his d. in Wallingford, whither he rem. 1670. Elizabeth m.
26 May 1674, John Stoddard; Ruth m. Eleazur Kimberly the Secr. of
the Col. THOMAS, York, rem. to Scituate, there had Elizabeth bapt. 1649;
and Samuel, 1659, bef. ment.; went back to York, 1663; had Benjamin,
bef. rem. first, prob. there was in 1684. With spell. of Courteous he is
seen sw. alleg. to Mass. 1652 in Col. Rec. IV. pt. I. 12. THOMAS,
Scituate, s. of Richard, m. 1694, Mary, d. of William Cook, had
Deborah, b. 1697; Ruth, 1699; Mary, 1701; Thomas, 5 Mar. 1704;
and Ruth, 1711. WILLIAM, Roxbury 1632, came in the Lion, arr. at
Boston 16 Sept. with w. Sarah, and ch. Thomas Mary, John, and
Philip; freem. 4 Mar. 1633, first nam. in the list of that day; had here,
says Ellis, Hannah; Elizabeth; and Isaac, b. 22 July 1641. His eldest s.
William, wh. came in 1631, perhaps with Eliot in the Lion, was "a
hopeful scholar, but God took him in 1634," says the ch. rec. Thomas,
d. 26 June 1650, of "long and tedious consumpt." says the ch. rec. unm.
it is presum. His d. Hannah m. 25 Aug. 16 William Geary; and
Elizabeth m. 14 Dec. 169, John Newell. He d. 8 Dec. 1672, aged 80;
ana his wid. d. 20 or 26 Mr. foll. aged 73. WILLIAM, Stratford 1642-1702,
s. of a wid. C. that came so (I presume), from Eng. with John
and this s. by Trumbull, I. 105, said to have come from Roxbury, erron.
as must be thot. for his obs. on John. But Cothren shows, that he of S.
(wh. may never have seen R.) was one of he grantees of Woodbury
in 1672, tho. he rem. not from S. but there d. 21 Dec. 1702, in his
will of six days preced. nam. his ch. Sarah, wh. was b. Oct. 1642;
Jonathan, Feb. 1644; Joshua, Oct. 1646; Abigail, Apr. 1650; Daniel,
Nov. 1652; Eliz. Feb. 1654; Ebenezer, July 1657; Zechariah, Nov. 1659;
and Josiah, Aug. 1662. Wh. was his f. is uncert. His sec. w. was Sarah,
wid. of William Goodrich, but all the ch. were by first w. whose name is
