and Mary, wh. m. James Coggeshall, liv. very long. For sec. w. he m.
the wid. of Gov. Nicholas Easton. HENRY, came in the Elizabeth, 1635,
aged 19. He belong. to London, and perhaps went home. HENRY,
Narraganset, set of the first Henry, prob. younger, m. Ann Cole, d. of
John of the same, had Ephriam, b. 23 Jan. 1692, wh. d. young; Ann;
and Henry, b. 1687; and the f. d.bef. mid. age; and his wid. d. 21 May
1704, aged 43. ISAAC, Boston, m. 22 June 1653, Sarah, d. of John
parker. JIRAH, or JERAH, s. of Gov. Henry, prob. elder, kept a garrison
ho. at Narraganset, in Philip's war, Dec. 1675; had by first w.
Godsgift Arnold, d. prob. of the first Benedict, Jirah, b. 1682; Benjamin,
1685; and Benedict; and his w. d. 23 Apr. 1691. He took sec.
w. Sarah, wh. may have borne him some ch. as Henry, Ephriam, and
Ezekiel. JOHN, Boston 1658, feltmaker, m. Mary, d. of Nicholas Baxter,
wh. is undoubted. a wrong name of the f. of the bride, had John, b.
14 July 1663, d. young; James, 16 July 1665; Mary, 29 Oct. 1667;
Mehitable, 1 Jan. 1670; John, again, 14 Mar. 1672; Henry, 12 Mar.
1674; Margaret, 19 May 1676; Martha, 7 Aug. 1678; Samuel, 19
Dec. 1680; and Jonathan, 24 Feb. 1683. His w. Mary d. 23 Aug.
1723, aged 83. JOHN, Hingham, a soldier in capt. Johnson's comp.
wound. in the gr. Narraganset battle 19 Dec. 1675. But he had ch. bef.
and after, had m. 21 Nov. 1672, Mary, d. of Edmund Pitts of H. and
had Mary, b. 19 Dec. 1673, d. soon; ano. ch. 4 Apr. 1675; John, 7 Apr.
1677, d. soon, and Deborah, wh d. next yr. His w. d. 18 Sept. 1696;
and he m. 4 Mar. foll. Margaret Damon, perhaps d. of John of Scituate,
had Mary, b. 7 Dec. 1697; Deborah, 16 Oct. 1699; John, 10 Dec.
1707, wh. d. at 3 yrs. and Elizabeth 8 Apr. 1712; and he d. 1 Dec. 1720.
JONATHAN, Saybrook, s. of Thomas, a brave soldier, capt. 1690, when
Schenectady was destr. by Ind. instig. by the Fr. m. 19 Mar. 1685,
Sarah, d. of Rev. John Whiting, had Susanna, b. 26 Dec. foll.; Sarah,
25 Aug. 1687; Sybil, 13 Apr. 1690; Ruth, 21 Apr. 1692; Abigail, 24
July 1694; Jonathan, 14 July 1696; Moses, 18 May 1699; and Ebenezer,
27 Aug. 1701, and d. 17 Aug. 1702, aged 53. Perhaps Goodwin,
332, mistakes in mak. him gr.s. of the first Thomas. JOSEPH, Hartford,
br. of the preced. m. 11 Apr. 1671, Sarah Manning of Cambridge, had
Sarah, b. 11 July 1672; Joseph, 9 Aug. 1675; Daniel, 9 Nov. 1677;
Caleb, 1 Feb. 1680, and may have been at Wickford, R. I. 1674. ROBERT,
Saybrook 1649, m. Dec. of that yr. Phebe, whose name on the rec.
