Phebe m. 1676, Samuel Chalker. From a part of Saybrook rec. giv. in
Geneal. Reg. V. 249, it may be infer. that his s. John went to Eng. sett.
in Co. Gloucester, there had childr. and the conject. may be indulg. that
from that shire the fam. orig. came. THOMAS, Hartford, came in the
Hopewell, capt. Babb, emb. at London, Sept. 1635, aged 25, was of Boston
or Cambridge first, but accomp. Hooker next May, had w. Susanna,
wh. d. 1680, aged 70; serv. well in the Pequot war, 1637, and in 1675
was in command at Saybrook, when Andros attempt. to gain the place
for his master, the D. of York, and he steadily and successf. resist. him.

1684, in his will nam. ch. Thomas; David of Saybrook, wh. was bapt. 9
Feb. 1651; Jonathan, bapt. 25 Mar. 1659; and Joseph of Hartford;
Ruth, w. of Andrew Bordman of Cambridge; Abigail Buck; and a
third d. Bunce. THOMAS, Farmington, s. of the preced. m. Esther, d.
of John Cowles; wh. s. 1691, aged 42, had John, b. 1671, wh. d. bef. his
f. but left issue; Samuel, 1676; Susanna, 1679; Jonathan, bapt. 14 May
1682; Sarah, b. 1684; and Daniel, 1687. Cothern says, he m. sec. w.
1692, Hannah Lewis, wh. lov. to 1728. Descend. have been num.
and respect. Ano. THOMAS in Dec. 1675 was a soldier in Moseley's
comp. set off for the bloody Narraganset exped. WILLIAM, Cambridge
1644, had, by w. whose bapt. name was Blyth, Rebecca, b. 27 Aug.
1644; John, 9 Mar. 1647; Mary, 9 Mar. 1649; William, 10 Sept.
1652; Samuel, 17 Sept. 1654; and Elisha, 21 June 1657, wh . all liv. to
be ment. in his will, made 21 May 1687, pro. 12 Oct. foll. tho. Harris,
Epti. says he d. 13 Sept. 1688, aged 72. His wid. d. 23 Sept. 1690,
aged 72. WILLIAM, Cambridge, s. of the preced. m. 3 Jan. 1674,
Abiah, d. of William Perry, had Abiah, b. 3 July 1675; William, 24
May 1678; and Andrew, 18 Jan. 1684. He liv. at Watertown, and had
sec. w. 13 Nov. 1693, Elizabeth Underwood, prob. a wid. Nine of this name
had been gr. at Yale 1834.
BULLARD, BENJAMIN, Watertown, a. 1642, as Bond, 147, gathers,
but Morse finds him at div. of lds. in 1637, m. a d. of Henry Thorpe,
rem. to Medfield, freem. 1668, perhaps had s. Benjamin by a former w.
and he may have been, tho. prob. not, b. in Eng. Of this s. (by former
or later w.) sis. are nam. Ann and Maudlin, yet the mo. has no name;
and no approach to reasonab. conject. as to the time of his d. is offer. by
Morse, while Bond had confus. f. and s. BENJAMIN, Dedham, s. of the
preced. m. 1659, Martha Pidge, d. of Thomas, had Mary, b. 14 Sept.
1663, d. young; Samuel, 26 Dec. 1667; Benjamin, 1 Mar. 1670; Hannah,
6 Aug. 1672; and Eleazer, 27 June 1676. His w. d. 4 Jan. foll.
and he m. 1677, sec. w. Elizabeth had John, 7 Mar. 1678; Elizabeth 31 Jan.
1682; Mary, 20 Feb. 1684; Malachi, 8 Mar. 1686; and Isaac, 25 July
