Van Arsdalen family [23 January 2013]

Hi. I see that you have uploaded to the pages for some of the Van Arsdalens. Thanks for sharing. If you can, will you please help clean up duplication and add sources to the pages. I have also been working on this as I can. Most of my good research was not typed into the computer yet.

If you are interested in the family, I have started working on an outline page to make it easier for people to see where their family appears among the several Van Arsdalen lines. though it is not really my area (the early Dutch settlers), I got curious because I 'met" an van Arsdale descendant on Facebookand read about the family.

Charles started his newsletter to make another go at VanArsdale ancestry - there were several family books previously published which contained errors. As more information becomes available we hope to get better at this. I started my outline as 'the next generation' of trying to refine.

Charles did good work, but a newsletter contains much data submitted by others. So I would say "use with care". His series "The Delta Project" was an attempt to get the first few generations adequately documented. I think there may still be some questions. He has made the newsletters available online.
