Portal Box -- Background Color [16 July 2012]

Is there an additional parameter that can be added to the basic portal box code to give a different background color for the box contents?

The basic code is:
{{portal-box
|title=Left Box 1
|color=rgb(216, 191, 216)
|content=
* xxx
* xxx
* xxx
}}

Would I need to put in something like:
|background=rgb(xx,xx,xx) If so, what is the background parameter? Background? Bkground? Bkgnd?

Help?--cowantex 15:42, 9 June 2012 (EDT)

Hi Cowantex, I added a parameter to the template and a sample on the instructions page. You can now use boxcolor= to change the color of the text box. The color of the box header is still changed by using the color= parameter. --Jennifer (JBS66) 16:14, 9 June 2012 (EDT)

Thank you soooo much ... I knew there had to be a way. MOST appreciative!--cowantex 07:14, 10 June 2012 (EDT)

Is there a way to cross-reference (link) to one of the portlet boxes?

Let's say ... before I start the portal template, I want to say "Be sure to see XYZ for more information" ... with XYZ being the name of a portlet. cowantex 12:49, 16 July 2012 (EDT)
