Potterne is a village and civil parish in Wiltshire, England. The civil parish includes the hamlet of Potterne Wick. It is 2 miles (3.2 km) south of Devizes and lies on the A360 road which links Devizes to Salisbury. Potterne is known as 'The Place of Springs' since there are many springs around the village. In the UK census of 2011 it had a population of 1,622.
Potterne included the chapelries of Marston and Worton until 1894 when they became separate civil parishes.
