Limestone is a community in Carleton County, in the Canadian province of New Brunswick, near Route 540.
Limestone is located 3.93 km SSE of Debec in Richmond Parish, Carleton County. The area was first settled about 1834 and named Ivey Corner for George Ivey and Sampson Ivey, who were early settlers here. It was also called O'Donnell Settlement. It was renamed Limestone for the lime that was burnt here and taken to market. (Source:Place Names of New Brunswick)
