Necessary Explanations for Children:

(1) Definite death records have not been found for Edward, Samuel, Sibilla, or Abigail. However, Edward was living in 1695 at the time of his father's will. Samuel's wife, Susannah, married 2) 18 Mar 1702/3 John Harris (Ref 3). Sibilla appeared with her husband to attest a deed on 14 Aug 1739 (ref 3). An Abigail Ward died in Middletown 5 Nov. 1741, but she is otherwise unidentified. (Ref Barbour Coll of Conn Vit Records (GSF 002,974)).
