As far as I understand from the census records, the parents are James (Jas) Mahon & Elizabeth Curry (1850 census, 1860 census, West Virginia Marriages 1853-1970)--Klaas (Ekjansen) 15:33, 4 June 2012 (EDT)

I Stand corrected!!
I removed my sources wrong Plyant Mahon never would haver thought there were so many!!
had to remove the Civil war source too because that would make him 11-12 in 1861.
though Polly Curry cannot be Elizabeth and the source does not give her last name...
So...back to the drawing board not bad for a newby though lol. had to try!!
