Person talk:Mabel Boardman (2)

Source for death date? [25 October 2022]

I have been unable to find a source for her death date other than Ancestral File. It is in neither New Milford nor Danbury VRs (Barbour collection). Various books cited by compilers (including Old Fairfield, Ancient Wethersfield, New Milford and Bridgewater) are silent on the date of her death. Her husband Josiah was supposedly survived by widow Mehitabel - could this be an error and actually mean Mabel?

If I cannot find a source, I may remove the death date (with explanation). Any objections?--DataAnalyst 12:03, 3 December 2011 (EST)

Let me check my notes at home. Mabel is a common substitute for Mehitabel. My grandmother, Mabel was named for an aunt named Mehitabel who went by Mabelle. If by Dec 10 I have not cited, please change to an alternate death date rather than delete.

The death date referenced (Feb 1724/25) has been removed, as it is incorrect assuming that Josiah's widow Mehitabel was the same person as Mabel Boardman. See changes to the page 24 Oct 2022.--DataAnalyst 23:18, 25 October 2022 (UTC)
