John Talcott had a sister Mary who was not mentioned in their grandfather's will of 14 Aug 1616, indicating that she had likely died by that time (John, Rachel and Sarah, the three siblings who later emigrated, were named) (Hale-House 747-48). John also had a half-sister Mary Wall who married one Robert Aylett and did not (as far as is known) emigrate to NE (same ref.). Who then is this Mary Talcott, alleged sister of John, who married an Eggleston? If there's no credible evidence, the first part of that sentence should be deleted. John the emigrant was the son of John and Anne Skinner Talcott of Braintree, Essex.--jaques1724 01:38, 9 March 2016 (UTC)
