Allen, when I first thought James K was the son of Jacob and Mary of Credition, and not the son of Jacob and Mary of Devonport is was because the Devonport couple already had a James. But after studying a map. Stoke Demeral is less then a mile from Devonport...then I discovered the Jacob in Devonport/Stoke married Mary Kinggett. I have changed my tree to reflect Jacob (1752-1814) son of Samuel & Joanna (Seymour) Landick was the father of "our" James Kinggett Landick.
