Baptism records discrepancy [23 March 2014]

Thanks to Markus3 for the clean up on this page for Gregoire Alexis Aucoin. I originally missed the 'greffe' record which has a different date than the 'commune' record for his birth and baptism.

The 'greffe' entry reads "...né le 25 octobre 1767...baptisé le lendemain..." which would place his birth on the 25th of October and his baptism on the next day, the 26th. The preceding entry is on the 25th of October and the following entry is on the 26th of October.

The 'commune' entry reads "...né le vingt octobre...baptisé le lendemain..." which would place his birth on the 20th of October and his baptism on the next day, the 21st. I checked the preceding and following entries and the preceding entry is for the 25th October and the following entry is for the 26th October. This appears to be out of sequence, so perhaps 'prêtre Lemoine' simply left out a word 'cinq'.--David Blanchard 17:34, 23 March 2014 (UTC)
