Person talk:Eleanor Wheeler (8)

Who is this? [26 August 2011]

Both the Concord records and Albert Gallatin Wheeler show a Helen Wheeler born into this family 20 Nov 1760. Neither show an Eleanor, or a child born in 1762.

The fact that Eleanor's birth date is listed as 20 Nov 1762 suggests this is confusion with Helen who was born 20 Nov 1760, or vice versa, or are they separate individuals? Need to know what it is based on, because it appears to be an error otherwise? --Jrich 10:28, 26 August 2011 (EDT)

Seems to come from Tolman's book, Wheeler Families of Old Concord, p. 12, no explanation given there. Assuming it is an error. While I can easily believe that the name may have been Eleanor in his will, the birthdate appears to have been copied wrong. I suppose films should be checked since Tolman was also the publisher of Concord Births that said 1760. I presume Concord Births was more of a collaboration, probably involving proofreading, so I am going to assume that is correct. --Jrich 11:01, 26 August 2011 (EDT)
