Person talk:Edward Tyng (2)

The Edward Tyng who married Elizabeth Clark was his son, not his father [19 September 2011]

I am a little lost trying to parse this statement. Is it, was his son, not him?

While I don't think I have any part in this page, it seems some proof is called for, like who he did marry, etc. What's the authority for the above assertion? Since Elizabeth Clark's unsourced page shows a birth in 1664, marriage in 1682, it seems unlikely that she married the son of a man born in 1649. The pairing that used to be on this page is the one presented inSource:Anthony of Padua. Tyng Family in America, p. 32. --Jrich 01:06, 19 September 2011 (EDT)

I had not intended to remove her. I think I know what happened but it's way to complicated to explain. It is now fixed. However, I don't have access to the Anthony of Padua document, so a tweak may still be needed.--jaques1724 06:51, 19 September 2011 (EDT)
It's available on heritagequest.com if you have access to that (many libraries and all Family History Centers have it free). --Jrich 08:50, 19 September 2011 (EDT)
