Camby "Box" Stottlemyer committed suicide on 12/23/1929 in a garage near his home in Hagerstown. He blew his head off with a shotgun. (Story in Hagerstown Morning Herald 12/24/1929 edition, p.16)

His wife Bessie Shuff Stottlemyer died 5/6/1958 at the Gateway Convalescent Home in Hagerstown. (Obit in Hagerstown Daily Mail 5/7/1958 edition p.31)
