       Services pending for Miss Zelma Turner

Miss Zelma J. Turner, 84, passed away Wednesday at the jennie Edmundsen Hospital in Council Bluffs. She was a longtime employee at the Carson Post Office, and is survived by a brother Paul Turner of Carson. The McKee Funeral Home in in charge of arrangements.

Obituary - 12 April 1976 Funeral services for Zelma J. Turner, former Oakland resident, were held Saturday, April 17 at Carson United Methodist Church. Miss Turner, 84, died at a Council Bluffs hospital. Burial at Carson Cenetery in charge of McKee Funeral Home. Zelma Jane Turner was born February 13, 1892 at Cowles, NE the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Jefferson Turner. The family later moved to IA and Zelma was employed in a hardware store in Oakland and later for years was a clerk in the Carson Post Office. She was preceded in death by her parents and by a sister, Bertha. She is survived by her brother, Paul Turner of Carson."
