"CARSON CRITIC, Carson, IA 5 Oct 1950 Mary Jane Turner, daughter of David and Adeline PAUL was born 11 Oct 1867 near Ashland, NE. She moved to Burlington, Iowa the original home of the Paul's at the age of 2. At the age of 21 Mrs. Paul died and Mary Jane moved to Cowles, NE. In 1887 she was united in marriage to Martin J. TURNER. Unto this union three children were born. Bertha who lives in Woodward, IA, Zelma and Paul who are at home in Carson. The Turners moved here from Nr in 1930. Mr. Turner passed away here July 3, 1936. Mrs. Turner was a member of the Christian Church of Guide Rock, NE where she still held her membership. Mrs Turner loved her home and family and devoted her time to her beautiful flowers in her yard. Up until the time of her passing she kept abreast of current happenings in the world."
